The Auxiliary - Making a Difference

The Hannibal Regional Auxiliary helps patients, families and visitors every day in a variety of ways. The Auxiliary was formed in 1993 when St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and Levering Hospital joined to create Hannibal Regional Hospital. Today, with more than 260 members the Auxiliary donates approximately 25,000 hours of service each year. The Auxiliary provides service in several areas including the Gift Shop, Cancer Center, Children’s Center, information desk, waiting rooms and more.

Since 1993 the Auxiliary has raised over $3,000,000 to support hospital services and provide improvements in equipment.

The purpose of the Auxiliary is to advance the welfare of and render service to Hannibal Regional through ways approved or proposed by the Hospital Governing Board and administration. The Auxiliary operates as a not-for-profit organization and is under the leadership of an Auxiliary Board comprised of the executive officers and a committee chairman.

Help us make Hannibal Regional Auxiliary even stronger! If you like to help others, organize, create, cook, network and contribute to your community, come join us as part of the Auxiliary.

Areas our volunteers staff and provide services to include: Information Desk, Surgery waiting rooms, Emergency Department, the Hannibal Children’s Center, James E. Cary Cancer Center and many other areas.
