Hannibal Regional Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of Levi Strube, DO, FAAP to their team. Dr. Strube is a board certified pediatrician who earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville and completed his residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. Dr. Strube was most recently serving as a staff pediatrician at Evans Army Community Hospital in Colorado and is looking forward to caring for patients in his hometown.
Dr. Strube chose to pursue pediatrics because he loves caring for families, “The science of growth and development of children is endlessly fascinating to me. In addition, pediatrics is fun. What other specialty in medicine can you learn about your patient’s third favorite animal?”
“One of the most rewarding things about being a pediatrician is seeing my patients grow and develop over time. It is fulfilling to guide my patients through the medical process whether they are healing from an acute illness or managing a chronic disease through therapies and monitoring. I enjoy coming alongside my patients and parents as they pursue health,” shares Dr. Strube. “My goal with each visit is for my patients’ families to be heard, supported, and to leave with confidence in their plan of care.”
Dr. Strube chose to join Hannibal Regional Medical Group so he could return to his hometown and care for the community that raised him, “HRMG is a terrific fit for me because I enjoy the full spectrum of pediatric care. I was trained to care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am passionate about providing excellent medical care to rural communities. Finally, Hannibal is my hometown and I’m looking forward to raising my family and practicing medicine here for many years to come.”
