Hannibal Regional Hospital is proud to announce that its Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit has been recognized among the top-performing rehabilitation programs in the nation, according to the newly released Program Evaluation Model (PEM) report for the most recent reporting year.
The Inpatient Rehabilitation team achieved an outstanding score, placing them in the 99th percentile nationwide
among all inpatient rehabilitation facilities utilizing UDSMR® for data reporting. This ranking reflects exceptional performance across key quality indicators, including patient functional gains, self-care and mobility outcomes, community discharge rates, and overall clinical effectiveness.
“This achievement is a testament to the dedication, skill, and compassion of our rehabilitation team,” said Jami Leonard, Inpatient Rehabilitation Program Director. “Reaching the 99th percentile nationally shows our commitment to helping patients recover, regain independence, and return to the life they love.”
The PEM report evaluates nearly 900 inpatient rehabilitation facilities across the country, providing an objective benchmark for quality and patient outcomes. Hannibal Regional’s exceptional scores in functional attainment and discharge mobility were significant contributors to this top-tier ranking.
