Hannibal Regional is now accepting applications for the James and Doris Lierheimer Endowed Scholarship. Established in 2025 through a generous gift from James and Doris Lierheimer, the scholarship supports local high school seniors pursuing post-secondary education in a healthcare-related field.

Each year, two $750 scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors who plan to earn a degree in healthcare. The Lierheimers were deeply grateful for the compassionate care they received from their healthcare team and created this scholarship as a way to express their appreciation while encouraging students to pursue careers dedicated to serving others.

Applications will be accepted through March 31, 2026. A scholarship committee will review all submissions, and two local students will be selected to receive the award.
