The OC Wilson Scottish Rite and RiteCare Valley of Columbia hosted their annual Casino Royale event on Friday, April 17 at The Rialto in downtown Hannibal. The evening featured casino games, prize drawings, delicious food - with the proceeds from the night benefiting pediatric speech therapy patients at Hannibal Regional. In addition to the Casino Night fundraiser, the Scottish Rite also hosts the Feztival of Trees in December in the historic downtown Hannibal district where visitors have the opportunity to win fully decorated, themed Christmas trees. This year proceeds from the two events resulted in a donation of $17,000 which members of the Rite presented to Hannibal Regional Foundation at the Casino night event on Friday. The continued support from OC Wilson Scottish Rite benefits local children in the form of therapy scholarships, allowing those kids to access much-needed speech therapy services which are often not covered through insurance plans.
