Nursing Education Assistance

Hannibal Regional is thrilled to invest in future nurses by assisting in paying for nursing degrees. Eligible candidates will be able to pursue their nursing degree with financial support from Hannibal Regional and the opportunity to join an award winning team.

Interested in Nursing?

Up to $20,000 in educational assistance for Nursing students
How Does it work?
- Be accepted into an accredited nursing program
- Once accepted, Hannibal Regional will make payments directly to the school to cover tuition payments for your nursing specific courses, up to $20,000.
- Agree to terms of the HRHS educational assistance program
- Obtain grades of “C”, passing, or better in all courses.
- Demonstrate skill, aptitude, and adherence to HRHS employment standards
- Obtain appropriate licensure within 6 months of graduation
- Fulfill employment term as outlined in agreement
Upon completion of your degree, you would obtain a benefit eligible bedside nursing position at Hannibal Regional.

Culver-Stockton College School of Nursing

Hannibal Regional is excited to partner with Culver-Stockton College to offer an innovative pathway for new and advancing nurses to grow their skills and further their education.
Go beyond the classroom with over 800 hours of hands-on experience that includes clinicals, skills labs, simulations, and observations.
How Does it work?
- Be accepted into Culver-Stockton College's School of Nursing Program.
- Once accepted, Hannibal Regional will make payments directly to the school to cover tuition payments for your Nursing Specific Courses, up to $20,000.
- Agree to terms of the HRHS educational assistance program
- Obtain grades of “C”, passing, or better in all courses.
- Demonstrate skill, aptitude, and adherence to HRHS employment standards
- Obtain appropriate licensure within 6 months of graduation
- Fulfill employment term as outlined in agreement

Work and Learn

Hannibal Regional is excited to provide an opportunity to work and learn. While enrolled in an eligible program, students can work in an approved position at Hannibal Regional.

How Does it Work?

A student hired into an approved position AND enrolled in a tuition-based education program is eligible to be a part of Work and Learn.
The team member can be full-time or part-time student status, and can be pursuing any field of study.
Team members will be eligible for $500 to $2,000 each calendar quarter (13 weeks) they are enrolled in school.
