Glitz Gala Jewelry Auction

9/23/2021 8:00 am to 10/7/2021 8:00 am

The Hannibal Regional Auxiliary is gearing up to host the Seventh Annual Glitz Gala Jewelry Auction. The Glitz Gala, officially sponsored by the Century 21 Broughton Team, benefits the Hannibal Regional Auxiliary.

Due to a recent uptick in COVID-19 cases, this year’s Glitz Gala Jewelry Auction will take place online. The live auction will begin on September 23rd and run through October 7th. Even though the event looks a little different this year, there will be many great pieces of jewelry to bid on! Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase during the online auction for a chance to win Rodan & Fields items from Jill Briscoe; a “31” tote bag and gift card from Cathy Bieniek; a jewelry box hand-made by Drew Sutor; a necklace from Lionne Design; or Ray Ban sunglasses. The proceeds from the Glitz Gala will help Hannibal Regional Auxiliary fulfill their pledge to the Building Better Tomorrows campaign at Hannibal Regional Foundation. The Building Better Tomorrows campaign is raising funds to assist with the major renovations and expansion projects at Hannibal Regional. This year in memory of Gary Broughton, a longtime supporter of this event, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Life.Light.Hope fund to support prostate cancer awareness and screenings.

Other sponsors for the event include Advance Physical Therapy, General Mills, Northwestern Mutual, The Olive Branch, Fiddlestiks and Jim Quinlin Auctioneer Services.

Hannibal Regional Auxiliary was formed in 1993 to help patients, families, and visitors in a variety of ways and contribute to the community. Today, with more than 260 members, the Auxiliary donates approximately 25,000 hours of service each year. The Auxiliary provides service in several areas including Judy’s Boutique Gift Shop, Cancer Center, Children’s Center, reception desk, waiting rooms and more.
