Everybody needs a buddy! Hannibal Regional Foundation is hosting its annual walk celebrating four-legged friends and helping local cancer survivors and families. The Paws For a Cause walk highlights the important role pets play in the healing and coping process for many patients.

This year’s Paws For a Cause walk will be held Saturday, September 19th, at 9:00 a.m. on the Hannibal Regional Healthy Way Fitness Trail. Join us as we unite in the fight against cancer and celebrate the special bond between people and their pets. Bring your friends, family and dog and join us for our annual Paws For a Cause walk.

Registration can be completed ahead of time by calling the Foundation at (573) 629-3577 or visiting hannibalregional.org/paws4cause. Walkers can also sign up the morning of the event at the Fitness Trail. With their paid registration, participants will receive a Paws For a Cause T-shirt, a special gift for their furry friend and a professional photograph to remember the day.

Funds raised from the walk will support Hannibal Regional Foundation’s Legacy of Hope Campaign, paving the way to assist in the delivery of cancer care regionwide.
