Heart Hero Campaign
Hannibal Regional Healthcare System is dedicated to leading, supporting and encouraging excellence in health. Recently, Hannibal Regional has announced growth in cardiology services, with the new Heart Center at Hannibal Regional, offering advanced heart care including open heart surgery. Hannibal Regional is investing in many programs that benefit our local heart patients, and Hannibal Regional Foundation supports many of these initiatives.
Helping others is good for the heart, and Hannibal Regional Foundation is offering the community the opportunity to truly help hearts with the Heart Heroes Campaign. This campaign is raising funds to support Hannibal Regional’s new Heart Center and new services offered at the heart center including open heart surgery. Dr. Jose Torres and his experienced heart team will be performing open heart surgeries at Hannibal Regional. As community members access this service, they can greatly benefit from additional support as they take the long journey of healing after open heart surgery. Additionally, the family support and availability during the surgery and hospital stay is an invaluable part of the process. The Heart Heroes Campaign is seeking donations to assist families in their open heart journey, as well as raising funds for additional surgical equipment that will greatly benefit the patient and families during and after surgery. Heart Hero Care Packages will be offered to each open heart surgery patient/family which will include complimentary hotel stays, food vouchers and more.
