Heart disease and other heart-related issues continue to be the leading cause of death in the nation, resulting in one out of every four deaths in the United States. Heart-related issues are also one of the main reasons people access healthcare. Although these stats are alarming, there are many things individuals can do to improve their heart health, both proactively and reactively after a heart attack.
Hannibal Regional invests in many programs which benefit local heart patients, including the new Helping Hearts Campaign, which will raise funds for our Cardiac Rehab program in 2022. Funds raised will assist with a renovation of the cardiac rehab space, new equipment, and programs/resources for our cardiac rehab patients. Help us help others by supporting this campaign.
