The Wall of Hope
"You have cancer"...those are very powerful and scary words to hear. Yet every year, over one million Americans hear those words from their doctor. Perhaps you have sat in a doctor's appointment when your physician has said those words, or maybe it was while you were with your husband, wife, mother, father, brother, sister, friend or child. Whatever the case may be, it is fair to say cancer affects us all.
Hannibal Regional Foundation introduced the Wall of Hope at the James E. Cary Cancer Center in the spring of 2015 and updates it quarterly with new additions. The Wall of Hope is an everlasting display at the James E. Cary Cancer Center.
Honoring, recognizing and remembering others in their fight against cancer is important. The Wall of Hope is a way to honor and memorialize those who have been affected by cancer. Each gift of $100 allows you to add a name to the Wall of Hope to honor a fighter, recognize a survivor, or remember a loved one who so bravely lost their battle with cancer. This is also an opportunity for you to honor a caregiver or anyone who you would like to recognize.
