We are pleased to announce that our new Internal Medicine Program will be recruiting for six excellent resident physicians who will be joining us in the new Internal Medicine Program at Hannibal Regional in June 2026!

  • Internal Medicine and its many subspecialties provide diverse career pathway options, enabling physicians to provide and lead team-based care in preventive, emergent, acute, and chronic care modalities for patients along an entire spectrum in multiple settings: critical care, emergency, inpatient settings, diverse office-based settings as well as medical care provided in other environments including at home and in hospice.

Our conference and seminar sessions will be set up to enhance your facilitation and small group learning skills as you interact with medical students, healthcare staff and team members, attending physician faculty and your peer colleagues. We seek to guide and mentor you in your individual preparations to successfully pass the American Board of Internal Medicine Initial Certification Examination that follows the successful completion of an Internal Medicine Residency Program in Graduate Medical Education. Multifaceted educational settings and techniques that foster optimal learning and teaching will be utilized! Noontime sessions will be sure to advance and accelerate your learning and professional development in internal medicine, healthcare, and medical education.
