Although she appreciated the privilege of supporting patients in their most vulnerable states in the surgery suite, she wasn't part of their journey before or after surgery. Choosing to become a surgical nurse practitioner has allowed her to be involved in her patients' entire journey. She finds it very rewarding to see these patients before surgery, hear what their goals are for themselves and their families, and watch as they become the healthiest versions of their selves by using the tools that the Weight Management Solutions program offers.
